Last week Mark Neiweem (‘Migs’), of the NATO 5, accepted a non-cooperating plea deal in Cook County Court to felony charges. He received a 3-year sentence, and will likely get credit for the 300 days he has already served. ‘Sabi,’ also of the NATO 5, was transfered to boot camp at the end of March. He will spend 4 months in boot camp, and then likely be deported to his native Poland.

In other NATO 5 news, a judge recently denied a constitutionality motion which argued that the Illinois terrorism statute is unconstitutionally vague, both on its face and as applied to this particular case.

The next G8 summit will be held in Northern Ireland. Due to the remote location, the stopG8 network has called for a week of mobilisation and skill-sharing in London from June 10-14th.

On May 25th there will be a worldwide march against Monsanto. RSVP to the main event, find a local march in your city, and read the full mission statement.
